About
Hello! My name is Nate Yonamine. I’m a photographer in Honolulu, HI and Pittsburgh, PA.
I am an alumni of the University of Pittsburgh. I was formerly the assistant visual editor of The Pitt News, our independent student newspaper.
My main areas of work include photojournalism, sports, and performing arts. I previously worked for ʻIolani School’s Communications Department to capture student life and major events on campus. Through the newspaper, I have shot a variety of Division I NCAA sporting events including University of Pittsburghs’ football, basketball, and volleyball teams. I have extensive performing arts experience which spans live music, dance, and orchestra. Artists I have captured recently include Plain White T’s, Conner Smith, and Pittsburgh Symphonic Orchestra.
